Quite an accomplishment!
Well done, ladies! Very proud of you.
THE ART OF FELTING
The origin of felting came about when the Nomads used to stuff their sandals with sheep’s wool on their travels to prevent blisters and by the end of their journey, the sweat and moisture would become felted. The process of wet felting we will use in our workshop is continuous rubbing of colourful wool fibres together with warm water and soap to form a one of a kind piece of art.
What our first-time artists had to say...
Lise, thank you for a wonderful and fun evening. You not only have a gift of painting, you also have a gift of making us feel confident in taking the brush in hand.
I really enjoyed the workshop. Lise was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. It was a great night and I would recommend it to everyone. Barbara
Such a fun evening! I didn't think I could do it but step by step, Lise showed us how! Each one turned out different. They are all beautiful. Can't wait to come again. Thank you, Margaret
Thank you so much Lise for a fun, relaxing and creative evening! So thankful for the way you encouraged every person, helping each, giving us tips, making us feel so great about our finished painting! Had a blast and will be back! Annette
Great fun, great company, hope to continue painting. I can't wait to go home and show my dog. 😄 Maggie
Fun time, great instruction. Will do this again. The step-by-step lesson was given in a way that allowed us to adapt our own artist abilities.
