Our Story

IN THE VILLAGE, established in 2013, is a charming boutique in the quaint hamlet of Ridgeville. This little shopping destination known as The Shoppes of Ridgeville, is truly a gem in the heart of Niagara.

Our historical building is 160 years old.  It was built in 1864, and for several decades was the hub of activity as the Post Office and General Store.  It still has the original tin ceiling and wide hardwood planks. This serves as a great backdrop for displaying today's unique home decor, fashion and gift items.

We are increasingly adding our own unique hand-made products. We especially love to work with our customers to customize artworks and style their homes.

Always appreciative of our loyal customers, we look forward to welcoming you IN THE VILLAGE.
